1. Who this policy covers

Dividend Atlas is the name used for this website and its calculator. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the website operator responsible for the service. For questions about personal information, contact websiteaftersales@gmail.com. You do not need to create an account to make a request.

This policy covers the website’s own features and support correspondence. It does not govern your browser, browser extensions, device backups, email provider, or websites you visit through external links. Those services may handle information under their own policies.

2. Information involved in using the service

Numbers and scenarios you enter

You may enter an investment amount, share count, share price, dividend payment or yield, contribution amount, time horizon, payment frequency, reinvestment choice, growth rates, tax rate, inflation rate and income goal. The application uses these values locally to generate estimates. It does not send them to a calculation server or market-data API.

You may also name saved plans. A plan name can reveal personal information if you put a real name, account reference or other identifying detail in it. Use a general label such as “Baseline” if you do not want to include personal details.

Information you choose to send

If you email us, we receive your email address, any name or signature your email includes, your message, and any screenshots, files or scenario links you attach. Sending a calculation to support makes the information in that calculation part of the correspondence, even though ordinary calculations stay in your browser.

Technical connection information

Delivering the website involves requests to a hosting or network provider. Those requests can include an IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, time of access and referring page information. Providers may process this information to deliver pages, diagnose problems and prevent abuse. These technical records are separate from the calculator’s saved plans.

The calculator does not ask for bank credentials, brokerage access, payment-card details, government identification or an exact location. Please do not send these details in a support message.

3. Browser storage and your controls

The website uses local storage, a browser feature that keeps information for this website on your device. It is different from a server account and does not provide account-based synchronization between devices. The current application uses three storage entries:

• Latest inputs: the most recent valid scenario, input mode and income goal, when remembering is enabled.
• Named plans: up to three scenarios you explicitly save, together with their names.
• Remember preference: whether the latest inputs should be remembered.

Remember my latest inputs on this browser is enabled by default. To change it, open Save & compare above the calculator. Turning it off deletes the latest saved inputs but keeps your named plans. You can remove a named plan using its removal control.

Clear saved data removes the saved plans and latest inputs, resets the calculator and turns remembering off. It leaves a small preference recording that remembering is off. To remove all site storage, use your browser’s site-data settings. Removing that preference also restores the default remembering behavior on a later visit.

Local storage has no expiry timer set by this application. Records can remain until you remove them, the application replaces them, or the browser clears or evicts them. Private browsing and browser restrictions can change whether storage is available. If storage is blocked, you can still calculate without saving.

Anyone who can use the same unlocked browser profile may be able to see saved scenarios. Local storage is not a password-protected vault. Clearing it does not delete exported files, email messages, clipboard contents or copies of shared links.

4. Shared links, clipboard and exported files

The Share button creates a URL containing your assumptions in the fragment after the # character and attempts to copy it to your clipboard. If copying is unavailable, the page shows a field so you can copy it yourself. The button does not automatically email the link or publish it to a social network.

A scenario link is readable information, not an encrypted or access-controlled secret. Anyone with the complete link can inspect the assumptions and reproduce the scenario. There is no account permission, expiration date or revocation control for a copied link. Changing your inputs or clearing your browser does not invalidate copies already shared.

A URL fragment is not normally included in the HTTP request to the hosting server. However, the full link may be stored in browser history, bookmarks, clipboard history, device synchronization, messages or services to which you paste it. A recipient opening the link may also save its inputs in their own browser.

Export CSV creates a file locally containing the scenario assumptions and yearly results. The application does not upload that file. Copies you download, back up, email or upload are handled by the devices and services you choose. Remove those copies separately if they are no longer needed.

5. Why information is used

Inputs are used to calculate and display the scenario you request. Browser storage restores preferences and plans. Support correspondence is used to answer your request, investigate an error, handle a privacy question or protect the service against misuse. Technical information may be used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.

We do not use the calculator to make decisions about your credit, employment, insurance or eligibility for a financial product. A projection is a mathematical output from your assumptions, not a personal financial profile or automated approval decision.

Where a law requires a legal basis for handling personal information, the relevant purpose matters. Responding to support and keeping the website secure may rely on legitimate interests, subject to the rights and balancing requirements of that law; handling information to meet a binding legal requirement relies on that obligation. Where consent is required for a particular activity, that consent must be obtained. This policy itself is not a consent request.

6. Providers, disclosures and international processing

Website delivery and email involve service providers. The published contact address uses Gmail, provided by Google. Messages you send to it pass through email infrastructure and may be processed under the provider’s terms and privacy practices. Hosting and network providers may handle connection information as described above.

We do not sell calculator inputs or support correspondence, and the current application does not share them with advertising networks for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed when necessary to comply with a valid legal obligation, respond to a lawful request, investigate abuse or protect legal rights. Such a disclosure should be limited to what is relevant to its purpose.

Provider processing may occur outside your country. This policy does not promise that email or technical records remain in one country. The actual locations and any required transfer safeguards depend on the provider and applicable law; contact us for information about a specific processing activity.

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The current application does not include advertising scripts, third-party analytics, tracking pixels or tracking cookies. Its preference and plan features use the local storage described above. It does not load a live ETF feed or require a social sign-in.

Browser privacy signals do not change the calculator’s local storage controls. You can turn remembering off or clear site data directly. If analytics, advertising or other tracking features are introduced, this policy and any required choices must be updated to reflect the actual new behavior.

8. How long information remains

Browser records remain under the storage rules in section 3. Shared links and exports remain wherever you or recipients keep them. We cannot remotely remove files or local storage on your device.

Support correspondence is retained for the time reasonably needed to respond, follow up, investigate recurring issues and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal needs. Relevant criteria include whether the request is resolved, whether a dispute remains open and whether a legal retention obligation applies. There is no fixed automatic deletion period stated for all messages.

Email backups and technical logs may follow provider retention schedules. Deletion from an active mailbox does not necessarily remove every provider backup immediately. A deletion request can ask what information can be removed and what must be retained, with the reason for any limitation.

9. Privacy requests and your rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights have conditions and exceptions; they do not all apply to every record.

Right to object: where applicable law provides it, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Explain which processing you object to so the request can be assessed. Withdrawing consent does not retrospectively change the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Send requests to websiteaftersales@gmail.com, preferably from the address used for earlier correspondence. Identify the request and relevant dates or message subject. Do not send financial account credentials. Only information reasonably needed to verify the request should be requested; a representative may need to show authority to act for you.

Requests will be handled within the period required by applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled, or an extension is permitted and needed, the reason should be explained. We cannot retrieve a locally saved plan that has never been sent to us. Use the browser controls for those records. You may also complain to the competent privacy regulator where applicable; contacting us first is not a condition of that right.

10. Security and younger users

Keeping calculations in the browser reduces routine transmission of your assumptions, but no website, device or email system can guarantee complete security. Keep your browser updated, protect access to shared devices and check screenshots before sending them. If you believe a link or attachment exposed information, contact us with only the details needed to investigate.

The service is a general financial education tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not ask children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so the correspondence can be reviewed and handled appropriately.

11. External services, policy changes and contact

Following a reference link takes you to another provider’s site. We do not control that site’s data handling. Review its policy before supplying information.

The update date above identifies this policy version. Material changes to data handling should be explained here, and additional notice or consent will be provided where required. A revised policy is not permission to use previously collected information for an incompatible new purpose without the basis required by applicable law.
