Dividend Atlas is a free, independent dividend calculator for exploring income, regular contributions and dividend reinvestment.
Why this tool exists
A dividend plan involves more than a single yield percentage. This tool brings starting capital, regular contributions, payment frequency and growth assumptions into one view, so you can compare reinvesting dividends with holding them as cash.

How the numbers are produced
Calculations run in your browser using the numbers you enter. The model tracks fractional shares monthly, applies a flat assumed dividend tax before reinvestment, and adds monthly contributions after any dividend payment that month. Prices change smoothly; dividends per share change annually.
There is no live price or ETF data feed. Example inputs are illustrative. The tool does not connect to brokerage accounts or recommend securities. Fees, capital gains tax and ex-dividend price adjustments are outside this model.
Verification and corrections
The model has been checked against closed-form examples and an independent purchase-cohort calculation. On September 27, 2026, 95 browser input scenarios were checked, including advanced settings, boundary values and invalid inputs. These checks do not cover every possible input or predict actual returns.
If a result looks wrong, send the inputs, payment frequency, reinvestment setting and the result you expected. You can include a scenario link. We use reproducible examples to investigate and correct problems.
